Boats and RV's are significant investments and owners know that indoor storage is the best way to extend the life of that investment. Storing boats indoors, on racks, using the Wiggins Marina Bull, is a technique traditionally found at waterfront marinas, referred to as ‘Dry Stack’ (view our Marina section). However, storage facilities are developing variations to ‘dry stack’, often called ‘Remote Dry Storage’. Remote dry storage refers to facilities located away from high-cost waterfront areas. Boats are stored on racks, indoors, with their trailers, allowing quick retrieval for customers. Storage facilities can combine boat and trailer storage with RV storage by building the boat racks with enough ground clearance to allow RV’s to be stored underneath. Racks can be built to facilitate up to 4 boats above each RV. This technique combines the convenience and efficiency of rack storage with the cost savings of non-waterfront property.
